Welcome to the Public

Our commitment to the community

Wokingham Borough Safer Communities Partnership is here for everyone who lives and works in Wokingham Borough. We are committed to building a safe, welcoming and inclusive community where people of all ages can live their lives free from fear, abuse, crime or harm. This includes adults with care and support needs, older people, families, children and young people.

We aim to be open, approachable and easy to connect with. This website is part of that commitment. Here you can find information about how to raise concerns, learn about local safety work, and access help and support. We also run public awareness campaigns on issues such as scams, online safety and domestic abuse, because keeping people safe works best when everyone understands the risks and knows where to turn for help.

We believe that community safety and safeguarding are shared responsibilities. By sharing clear information, offering practical advice and encouraging people to look out for one another, we work to prevent harm before it happens and help communities grow stronger and more resilient.

Most importantly, your voice matters. We listen to residents, people with lived experience, community groups, volunteers and professionals to help shape our work and improve how we respond. If you have ideas, concerns or questions about safety or safeguarding in Wokingham, please get in touch. The Wokingham Borough Safer Communities Partnership is here to support you.
